Friendship

A dream of mine I had last night included every single one of my closest friends. I found it to be rather odd.

It consisted of very little sitting room, and all of my friends already having seats. As I traveled around the room, I wasn’t offered a seat. In fact, I was constantly denied of a seat…

I woke up with a realization. Most of the people I choose to surround myself with in my life are selfish in our friendships. I know the kind of person I was raised to be, and I’ve made it a point in my life to be a GOOD friend.

From this point forward, I’m done with people who take me for granted. I’m done bending over backwards for people to have them barely turn their heads for me. I will find good people in this world, I will appreciate them, and I will be happier because of it.
